Why Vim?

Vim is installed on nearly every Linux distribution. I appreciate its minimalism. I have grown accustomed to its functionality. I simply like it!

I’m still in the process of learning Vim. I prefer not to install additional software like VSCode on Linux. I abstain from using any form of auto-completion. Although Vim offers plugins with auto-completion features, I’ve experimented with them and discovered that I perform better as a developer without them. Embracing this method requires me to remember more, which I find rewarding (though some might think I’m a masochist).

I hold a deep respect for Emacs too; it’s undeniably impressive.
