Fyodor Dostoevsky: The Idiot

One of the best books. The first part is easy to read. It doesn’t make much sense to reveal too much about the plot - Prince Myshkin returns to Russia after treatment in Switzerland. He crosses paths, by fate, with Nastasya Filippovna and Rogozhin. These two individuals will be with him throughout the entire book. It’s a tale of love and madness. The second and third parts are challenging to read, but these sections are crucial for a deeper understanding of the characters. The book’s conclusion can be guessed early on; it’s not a surprise. The most difficult, somber, and melancholic fragments are found in the end of the fourth part - the last two chapters. It’s worth reading, but it’s not Dostoevsky’s easiest work.
