I’ve had a penchant for books since childhood, although the memory of my very first read escapes me. I reckon it was likely a fairy tale, setting the stage for my fondness for science fiction. Approximately two years back, my movie-watching habit dwindled significantly. Reading allow me to immerse myself fully, engaging my senses to envision, feel, taste, and even smell the narrative. Movies and TV shows, on the other hand, fail to provide that same level of immersive experience. Occasionally, I’ll indulge in watching something, but it’s typically only in the company of friends.
