A story of love and unlove. A tale of misunderstanding each other and the consequences thereof. At least, that’s my impression. In relationships, communication is the most crucial; if there’s no communication, problems arise immediately. This novella vividly illustrates this point. The author may have depicted something else, but I saw it this way for myself. The protagonist’s emotions and thoughts are conveyed very vividly. Once again, I see how Dostoevsky portrays the thoughts of the main character. A sad story.
